Before you travel: what does ABflexkracht arrange?

Once we’ve matched you with a suitable job, we’ll discuss the practical details with you. That way, you know what to expect before travelling to the Netherlands.

We’ll explain:

  • Where you’ll be working and what your tasks involve.
  • Your salary and employment conditions.
  • Where you’ll be living and what your accommodation costs.
  • How you’ll travel from your accommodation to work.
  • Who to contact when you arrive in the Netherlands.

You’ll also receive information about your accommodation, including photos, the number of housemates and whether you’ll share a bedroom.

Where will you live in the Netherlands?

If you don’t have accommodation in the Netherlands, ABflexkracht can arrange a furnished home close to your workplace.

Our accommodation meets the applicable housing standards and provides the facilities you need for everyday life. You won’t have to search for a room on your own after arriving.

When you arrive, you’ll receive your keys and information about your accommodation. Our coordinators are available to help if you have questions or experience problems with your home

Can you live with your partner or friends?

That’s why we do everything possible to place you in the same house. This way, you can relax, cook, and explore the area together after work. Check out all our vacancies in the Netherlands here.

If it’s not possible to place you in the same house, we’ll ensure you live close to each other. This makes it easy to visit one another, cycle to work together, and enjoy your free time together.

Transportation to work in the Netherlands: taken care of from day one

No need to worry about getting to work. Depending on the distance, we’ll provide you with a bike or car. You’ll often travel with colleagues to your workplace in the Netherlands. You’ll be picked up close to your home and dropped off after work. If you prefer to arrange your own transportation, discuss this with your contact person at ABflexkracht.

Cycling is incredibly popular in the Netherlands and a great way to stay fit. We’ll provide the bike and take care of its maintenance—you just enjoy the ride. However, be sure to follow the traffic rules. Dutch traffic regulations are strict, and fines must be paid by you. But with our tips and guidance, you’ll commute safely and smoothly to your job in the Netherlands.

How much do housing and transport cost in the Netherlands?

ABflexkracht can arrange accommodation for you in the Netherlands, close to your workplace whenever possible. Our housing meets Dutch standards for safety and quality. Before you travel, we’ll explain how much your accommodation costs per week and how payment works.

With your written permission, housing costs can be deducted from your wages, provided the legal requirements are met. For deductions from the statutory minimum wage, the limit is 25% of the gross statutory minimum wage you’re entitled to. Want to know more? Read about our housing options in the Netherlands.

Getting to work is also taken care of. Depending on where you live and work, ABflexkracht can arrange a bicycle, car or shared transport. Transport provided by ABflexkracht for commuting is free of charge.
