What am I going to do?

In this role you are the spider in the web for farmers, sales and production. You are responsible for the proper and timely handling and supervision of orders all over the world, whether or not through production in Rijsenhout. You form a team with your colleagues and replace each other when necessary. You have regular contact with growers and customers abroad. Starting point is satisfied customers, satisfied growers and satisfied colleagues.
The main duties within this versatile position are:
·        Planning ongoing product lines (year-round and single lines) and orders
·        Communicating about orders with growers, customers and internally
·        Together with sales, ensuring long-term planning
·        Receiving, analyzing and entering orders
·        Planning short and long term air freight requirements
·        Managing surpluses and shortages in rolling stock
·        Analyze data and suggest process improvements and solutions

What is asked of me?

·        Some experience in or interest in a marketplace working with fresh inbound and outbound produce
·        Background/interest in supply chain management or similar is an advantage
·        HBO level of education and thinking
·        Good knowledge of English (many English speaking colleagues, farmers and customers)
·        Good oral and written communication skills in Dutch and English
·        Ability to work independently and a flexible, results-oriented attitude
·        You can translate your data analyses into concrete (improvement) proposals
·        You work accurately and in a structured way
·        You have a good feeling for processes and the use of IT tools
·        Available on weekends once a month (compensation the week after)
